the numbers behind the name

Every wrapper we save, we track.

"Gawa" is action โ€” and action is easier to trust when it's counted, not just claimed. Here's a running tally of the plastic we've diverted into wearable pieces instead of the trash.

Chip, candy & pouch wrappers reused since we started
0

Note: these numbers are placeholders so you can see how the tracker looks and feels โ€” swap in your real running totals whenever you're ready (we can wire this up to update automatically from your order data later, too).

What actually goes into a piece

Every product is tagged by the kind of plastic waste it's built from, so you know exactly what you're wearing and where it came from.

why we track this

Small numbers, said honestly

We're a small, hand-run shop โ€” not a factory, and not a big sustainability program. The numbers above aren't meant to sound impressive. They're meant to be accurate, updated batch by batch, wrapper by wrapper.

If a wrapper doesn't work its way into a finished piece, it doesn't count. If a piece doesn't sell, we don't claim the plastic as "saved" yet. This tracker grows exactly as fast as our workbench does.
